You will then make your own unique and creative Christmas flower bouquet that will last for a couple of weeks; it can be a perfect Christmas decoration for your home!

Columbia Road is a sweet little road not far away from Shoreditch. It’s normally quiet during the week, but in the Christmas season, shops open on Wednesday nights. Pubs sell mulled wine and mince pies, and locals meet for a chat in the street and do their Christmas shopping. The shops sell unique products, often from local designers and artists. On some Wednesdays, the local church community comes with a piano on a truck and everyone is invited to sing Christmas carols. It’s a lot of fun!

Location: Columbia Road, London E2 7RG

Hours: Wednesdays, December 6th, 13th, 20th. Shops are open from around 5-9pm.

East London’s Only Ethical & Fundraising Community Market

WISH is a user-led charity that works with women with mental health needs in prisons, hospitals, and the community.

On this unique winter market, you will find a range of stalls including vintage clothing, hand-made jewelry, Christmas cards, bathroom products, candles and much more.

It’s also a Winter Market with a difference; all sellers have an ethical approach to their craft. In addition, there will be some brilliant classes happening that day.

At The Create Place, there will be a Herbal Blessings Clinic run by Rabiah Mali from 10AM-12:30PM. Join Rabiah to learn how to make your own medicinal herbal balm and tea blend, which makes a perfect gift for your loved ones – or a pamper present for yourself!

There will also be a Botanical Illustrations workshop run by Joanne Roberts from 2PM-4PM. Take the chance to focus on natural plants that come alive in the winter in this calming workshop. Bookings can be made via email.

You can also pop down to Yoganest to take part in a Structure and Flow yoga class from 1PM-2PM. Get to know your body and how it works as you learn to let go and connect with your breath in this relaxing class. Or, if you want to get in the festive spirit, settle down in our Gallery Cafe with a mulled wine.
